Peter Bernazzani, my friend of 56 years, has dedicated his life to working for Local 4 contractors since high school. He played a significant role in the construction of Boston during the BIG DIG, operating the tower crane for the Lenny P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge. For over 35 years, he traveled in and out of Boston for various construction projects, starting his day as early as 3:30 am just to secure parking. I am proud to nominate Peter, a true friend who takes great pride in rebuilding the city of Boston.
Linda Kokoros
Linda passionately dedicates herself to supporting those in need, particularly first responders, at her cafe. She founded a foundation to offer comfort to first responders and their families to prevent more tragedies like the loss of her stepson Alex, an Abington police sergeant, to suicide. Despite overcoming breast cancer herself, Linda has become a trained life coach to further assist veterans and first responders in crisis. Her selflessness and dedication to helping others, along with her humility and willingness to listen, make her truly deserving of recognition.

Elizabeth, a special education preschool teacher in QUINCY, works tirelessly in a classroom dedicated to children with autism. Her approach to teaching and caring for these students is truly remarkable. With grace and dignity, she treats each child according to their individual needs, fostering a safe and nurturing learning environment. Elizabeth’s positive impact on these children is immeasurable, as she helps build them into incredible individuals.

Chad, a dedicated member of Local 103IBEW for over 30 years, has worked tirelessly in and around Boston, including several years in the Seaport. Recently celebrating his 20th work anniversary with Lighthouse Electrical Construction, Chad’s commitment to his craft is truly commendable. Living in Lynn with his spouse for 25 years, they have raised three children together.

Today, at 27, he has realized his goal with Glacier Electric. Alex holds multiple electrical licenses and runs his business with integrity, ensuring fair treatment for customers and employees.
