Eligibility
• The contest is open to legal residents of Massachusetts who are 18 years of age or older at the time of nomination.
• Nominees must be individuals who work or have worked in roles that support the communities of Massachusetts, not limited to just the City of Boston (e.g., construction workers, union members, healthcare workers, delivery drivers, educators, etc.).
• Employees of Keches Law Group, their immediate family members, and anyone involved in the administration of this contest are not eligible to win.
Contest Frequency
• This is a quarterly contest. One winner will be selected every three months based on public voting.
• Nominations are accepted on a rolling basis, and each quarter’s nominees will be featured for public voting during the final month of that quarter.
How to Nominate
• Nominations must be submitted through the official form at WeBuiltThisCity.com.
• You may nominate yourself or someone else. Each nomination must include:
• Nominee’s full name
• Their occupation or role
• A short description (100–300 words) explaining why they deserve recognition
• A photo of the nominee (optional but encouraged)
• By submitting a nomination, you confirm the information is accurate and that you have the nominee’s permission to share their story and image.
Content Guidelines
• Submissions must be respectful and suitable for public display.
• Inappropriate, offensive, false, or plagiarized content will be disqualified.
• All submitted content must be your own or used with permission from the individual being nominated.
Public Voting
• Nominees selected for public voting will be featured on the website during the voting period.
• Voting will be open for a set time each quarter (dates to be posted on the site).
• Each visitor may vote once per nominee per contest period.
• Use of bots, fake accounts, or other vote manipulation tactics is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.
Winner Selection & Prize
• The nominee with the most verified votes at the end of each quarter will be declared the winner.
• The winner will receive a prize sponsored by Keches Law Group (details will be posted on the website).
• Keches Law Group reserves the right to verify eligibility and may require proof of employment or community service before awarding the prize.
Taxes & Legal Disclosures
• Prizes may be considered taxable income. Winners are responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes associated with receiving a prize.
• Keches Law Group may issue an IRS Form 1099 for the prize value, if applicable.
• Winners may be required to complete and return a W-9 form before receiving the prize.
Use of Submitted Content
• By submitting a nomination, participants grant Keches Law Group permission to use names, photos, and stories on WeBuiltThisCity.com, in marketing materials, and on social media.
• Nominees may opt out of public sharing by contacting us.
General Conditions
• Keches Law Group reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time for any reason, including technical issues or suspected fraud.
• All decisions made by Keches Law Group regarding eligibility, nominations, voting, and final results are final and binding.
