Kristen is a dedicated nurse at Boston Medical Center for over 20 years, following in her mother’s footsteps. She works tirelessly in the pediatric emergency department, advocating for her colleagues and patients as a union delegate and a member of the workplace safety committee. Kristen recently won an election within SEIU to better serve the community. She is not only an amazing nurse but also a loving wife, mother, daughter, and a dear friend. Her commitment to keeping our children and city safe in a challenging neighborhood is truly inspiring.
Tom Lawlor
Tom, a highly skilled construction superintendent with a wealth of experience in Boston, dedicated his career to improving the city through his work on numerous buildings. Starting out under the guidance of his father, a union carpenter, Tom worked his way up to become a respected superintendent. He was not only an outstanding professional but also a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Tragically, pancreatic cancer cut short his plans for a well-deserved retirement. Despite facing significant health challenges, Tom continued working until he could no longer do what he loved. His contributions to the city’s landscape were truly commendable, and his legacy as a great man lives on in the structures he helped build.

Greg, a dedicated maintenance worker of drainage systems in Boston and other cities, is not only exceptional at his job but also excels in his role as a loving provider, inspirational role model, and a source of unwavering support. He approaches his work with determination and a sense of humor, making him a truly great individual to be around.

Bob Humphrey, a skilled brick mason for over 25 years, has played a vital role in shaping the city’s most iconic buildings, such as Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston College. His dedication, integrity, and craftsmanship have left an indelible mark on the city’s landscape. Beyond his construction work, Bob has also been a valued mentor and friend to his colleagues, inspiring us to pursue excellence both professionally and personally.
